Day 1: Delhi – Rishikesh
Early morning drive to Rishikesh by road. Rishikesh is also known as the Place of Sages. Rishikesh is considered to be the holy place and believed that meditation at this place leads a person to attain pardon. There are many ancient temples and also new along the river side of the Ganga. Many Sages and Sadhus at the ashrams on the side of river Ganga. Most of the people visit Rishikesh, just not as pilgrimage, but also for adventure, yoga, meditation and other aspects. Once you reach Rishikesh, check in at the hotel and rest for a while. Afternoon set out for sightseeing of Rishikesh. Visit the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula. The Laxman Jhula is a long hanging bridge on the river Ganga, this was built in 1939. Ram Jhula is the bigger Jhula then Laxman Jhula. Ram Jhula connect the Sawargashram and Shivanada Ashram. Visit the Sawargashram, you will find the area to be healthy and satwik . There are many sages doing yoga and Tapasya at this place. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
Day 2: Rishikesh - Haridwar
After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Haridwar by road. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest places of Hindus. One more attraction of this place the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated after every 12 years. Har Ki Pauri is the holy ghat of Haridwar. Haridwar is the one of the four places where the Amrit fell when it was being carried by Garuda. At the Haridwar, the pleasant view is in the evening when the golden Diyas that keep floating on the river. Upon arrival check in the hotel and relax for the a while. You can pay a visit to the renowned temple in Haridwar. Visit Chandi Devi temple, this temple was built by Suchat Singh, he was the King of Kashmir in 1929. Also visit Mansa Devi temple, this temple is set down on the top of the Bilwa Parwat and it is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi. In the evening,enjoy the Ganga Arathi ceremony at Har Ki Pauri. Har Ki Pauri is also known as Brahmakund. This Ghat was built by King Vikramaditya as a tribute to his brother Bhatrihari. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 3: Haridwar – Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, a drive to Delhi by road. Upon reaching Delhi, drop at the airport/ railway station for onward journey.
