Day 01: Arrival in Cochin
Meet Alltime Vacation’s representative at Kochi airport who would assist you at the airport and accompany you till the hotel. Checkin into the hotel & relax for a while. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Cochin, the Commercial capital city of Kerala. This city is a cosmopolitan and mixed culture. Visit Chinese Fishing Nets, the nets were introduced a long ago by the traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan. The Santa Cruz Basilica church which is situated in Fort Kochi, was built by the Portuguese. The Hill Palace Museum which is located 16 kms of Cochin. You can find the collection of archaeological and the collection of articles showing the glory and wealth of the Rajas of Kochi Jewish Synagogue, which is beautifully decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandelier. Mattancherry Palace, this palace was built by the Portuguese. Later, it was modified in the 17th century, by the Dutch and presented to the Raja of Kochi. You can see the beautiful scenes from the Hindu epics of Ramayan and Mahabharatha. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar
Today morning after breakfast you can proceed towards Munnar which is the most famous hill station of Kerala. Upon arrival in Munnar checkin into the hotel and checkin. You can relax and have a walk around the hotel/resort and witness the scenic beauty of this hill station. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar
Today morning after breakfast full day is to explore the beauty of Munnar. The highest peak in the Western Ghats is Anaimudi peak. Munnar is located near Anaimudi peak. You can visit the Rajamala National Park, which is located 15km from Munnar. The Nilgiri Tahr species are in this region.The Rajamala is the part of the Eravikulam national park. You can view the natural sandalwood forest at Marayoor, which is 42 kms north from Munnar. Muniyara caves are one kilometer away from Marayoor. This place is believed to be the meditation place for ancient sages. The Muniyaracaves have the monuments and paintings from Stone Age Civilization. One of the most wonderful view is the children’s park, which spread across a hectare of land under the canopy of a single Banyan tree. Overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar – Periyar
Morning after breakfast drive towards Periyar. Arrive at the hotel and relax for a while. Later spot the beautiful plantations of cocoa, green pepper, cardamom, areca nut and rubber to the wildlife reserve at Periyar. You can have a walk through the spices and coffee plantations. This town is famous for various spices and coffee plantations. Overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 05: Periyar – Alleppey Houseboat
Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. Reach Alleppey and board the houseboat baackwater trip & explore the rural life through backwaters. The houseboat has all the amenities which meets to your comfort. You will enjoy never ending beautiful scenic of the towering coconut trees, long canals, green paddy fields and shimmering water. You can enjoy mouthwatering dishes prepared before you by the crew members. Enjoy the backwater cruise through bridges, canals and fresh fish for dinner. Overnight stay in the floating houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey houseboat – Cochin
Today morning after breakfast proceed towards Cochin. After checkin into the hotel full day is to relax. Full day at leisure. Overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 07: Cochin to Ooty
Today morning drive to Ooty after breakfast. Ooty is the most popular hill station in the southern India. This is located at a height of 7,500 ft in the Western Ghats. One of the most beautiful hill station is Blue Mountians. On arrival and check in the hotel. In evening you can visit the Botanical Garden, where you can find varieties of colorful and different flower bushes and plants or you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Ooty. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 08: Ooty
Today after breakfast proceed for the sightseeing of Ooty. Visit the Botanical Gardens, with a peaceful Lotus Pond then cover Dodda Betta. It is the highest peak of this hill resort. Other attractions are the tea estates, Lamb's Rock, Dolphin's Nose (a picnic spot), Ooty Lake, Catherine Falls and Kodanadu's View Point. You can see the tea and coffee plantations, trees like pine wattle dot and conifers on the hillside of Ooty. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 09: Ooty to Mysore.
Morning drive to Mysore. Mysore was ruled by the king Mahishasure, a buffalo-headed monster. The demon was killed by the Chamundeshwari Goddess. It was called has Mahishuru later it became Maisuru. Mysore is known as the capital rosewood, sandalwood and musk. It was ruled by the Yadu dynasty and the Chamaraja Wodeyar, the Raja has the rebuilt the fort of Mysore. The palace is a mix of Mogul, Hindu and Indo-Saracenic architecture styles. It is the most beautiful palace. You can visit Lalitha Mahal Palace, which is at the foot of the Chamundi Hills. This palace was designed by the E.W.Fritchely from Mumbai. The designed was with the concepts from English manor and Italian palazzo. You can visit one of the oldest buildings in Mysore that is Jaganmohan Palace, this palace was built in 1861 by the ruler KrishnarajaWodeyar III to celebrated this daughter’s wedding.. This palace was destroyed by fire in 1897 and was rebuilt. Visit the art gallery to the west of the main palace. You can view the original paintings of the royal family and many other mythological themes in the art gallery. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 10: Mysore.
After the delicious breakfast in the morning in Mysore. You can visit the Sri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery is the one of the best art gallereis in South India. The Jaganmohan Palace was converted into the art gallery in 1875. This three-storied palace has the excellent collection of artifacts and paintings that belonged to the Wodeyars of Mysore. The St. Philomena’s Church one has to visit in Mysore. This is the one of the oldest churches in India. Maharaja KrishnarajaWodeyar IV laid the foundation stone for the new church in the place of the small church built by his grandfather. The famous place to visit is the Chamundi hills. The famous Sri Chamundeswari Temple is on the top of the hills. Visit the Brindhavan garden which is on the banks of Krishnarajasagar Dam. One of the best gardens in India. One of the major attraction for tourists is the musical fountains. The fountains have amazing harmony of colors, music and water.Overnight stay in Mysore.
Day 11: Mysore to Bangalore
Today morning drive to Bangalore, visit Srirangapatnam on the way. This is the monument of Tippu Sultan. There are many beautiful structures. Arrive Bangalore & transfer to hotel. Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Bangalore, visit Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, Cubbon Park, ISKCON Temple, Vidhana Soudha and the Commercial Street for the Shopping. Overnight stay in Bangalore.
Day 12: Departure from Bangalore
On the last day of your tour you will be transferred to Bangalore international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
