Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, meet our representative & transfer to Hotel. Our representative then Brief you about the tour program. Spend rest of the day by relaxing in the hotel or visit nearby market. Interact with local people & get to know the culture of Nepal. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu
Today morning after breakfast proceed for the local sightseeing of beautiful Kathmandu city. Visit Swoyambhunath which is one of the most incredible & religious Buddhist sites across the world. There are some beautiful monasteries and hindu temples around the stupa of Swoyambhunath. Kathmandu Durbar squareis a glorious complex of palaces, courtyards and temples. It was built between 12th and 18th Centuries, It is said that it was the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. Also visit Patan City, Patan Durbar Square is an incredible complex of Palaces, artistic courtyards and pagoda temples. It is listed under World Heritage Sites. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu
Today morning after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city covering Bhaktapur City, Bakhtapur Durbar square is a complex of pagoda and shikhara-style temples. It is said to be one of the most incredible architecture of Kathmandu. The main attractions of the place are : The Lion Gate, The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-five Windows, The Art Gallery and The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla. Bouddhanath is among the largest stupas in Asia and it is often called as ‘Little Tibet’. It is one of the best place to explore the Tibetan lifestyle. Also visit Pashupatinath, which is one of the most visited Hindu pilgrim site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 04: Kathmandu – Chitwan National Park
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is one of the most premier wildlife reserves of South Asia. It has grassland of more than 350 square miles & the rich forest of the wildlife reserve consists of wide variety of flora and fauna. It has several species of animals and birds which can be viewed during safari. Upon arrival in Chitwan check-in at the hotel. Enjoy Jungle walk and bird watching in evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05: Chitwan National Park
Today after breakfast whole day is set for jungle activities including Jungle walk, elephant ride, canoe ride, Elephant briefing OR Elephant bathing. You can also visit nearby villages to explore the culture and lifestyle of local people. You can enjoy Tharu Dance which is the local dance form of Nepal. Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Chitwan - Lumbini
Today morning after breakfast, drive to Lumbini. Reach Lumbini and check in to our pre-booked hotel. This town is the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of Lumbini covering Vietnam temple, Chinese pillar, Maya garden buddh stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Japenese temple. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Lumbini – Kushinagar
Today morning after breakfast, we travel to Kushinagar, where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Here you shall also see the ruins of Mukutbandhan Stupa. After arrival at Kushinagar, check in to our pre-booked hotel. Later proceed for a sightseeing visiting Mahaparinirvana Temple, Nirvana temple, Cremation site of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 08: Kushinagar – Vaishali - Patna
Today morning after breakfast, we shall drive to Patna. En-route visit reclining Buddha statue at Vaishali. After arrival in Patna, we check in to our pre-booked hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Patna – Nalanda – Rajgir - Bodhgaya
Today morning after breakfast, we shall drive to Bodhgaya. En-route we shall visit Nalanda and Rajgir. Rajgir was the capital of the Magadh kingdom, during the time of Buddha. It is surrounded by river Banganga and five hills. Nalanda is one of the first ancient universities of India. Afternoon travel by road to Bodhgaya and check in to our pre-booked hotel. Bodhgaya is one of the most famous Buddhist site as it is the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment, and where Buddhists reside. Upon arrival in Bodhgaya check-in the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Morning after breakfast various sites in Bodhgaya like the Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village and Niranjana River. Afternoon drive to Varanasi. Stay overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.
Day 11: Varanasi
Today morning after breakfast proceed for guided tour of Varanasi including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Gyanvapi Mosque, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Benaras Hindu University and other important monuments. Afternoon proceed to visit Sarnath – the holy place where Lord Buddha’s first sermon was delivered. There, you shall see the remains of Buddha and a temple as well. Witness aarti at river ganges in evening. Stay overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.
Day 12: Varanasi - Delhi
Morning transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight for Delhi. Tour ends with sweet memories.
