Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Delhi– Chandigarh
Early morning drive towards Chandigarh. Upon arrival at Chandigarh, check-in the hotel and relax for a while. Later proceed to the sightseeing in Chandigarh such as Rock Garden is the wonderful garden with various art objects built out of the industrial and home waste. Rose Garden is the Asia’s largest Rose Garden. You will find 1600 different species in this garden. International Dolls Museum contains nearly 300 varieties of dolls from all over the world. Government Museum and Art Gallery is the fine collection of stone sculptures. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 02: Chandigarh – Shimla
Today morning after breakfast drive to Shimla. Upon arrival in Shimla complete the check-in formalities and take rest for a while. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing of Shimla. Visit the Gorton Castle which was designed and built in a Gothic Style. This was done by the famous British architect Sir Swinton Jacob. Christ church is the second oldest church in the North India and built in 184- 1857. The Town Hall is built during the British rule in 1910. The best part of this historic is the large steps at the entrance of the building. The Shimla State Museum has the collection of ancient historical paintings and Sculptors. The galleries consist of wood carvings, Arms Gallery, Rajasthan paintings, Philatelic Anthropological etc. The Gaiety Heritage is 122 years old cultural complex is an important centre for all the cultural, literary and theatrical events. This complex was designed by Henry Irwin. Overnight stay in the hotel. In the evening walk on Mall road & enjoy shopping. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 03: Shimla
Today morning after breakfast full day is to explore nearby places of Shimla. Enjoy the excursion of Kufri Valley. Kufri is located at a distance of 16 km from Shimla and 2510 m above the sea level. In the afternoon visit Sankat Mochan Temple, the temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The Jakhoo Hill is the highest peak and the temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. You would enjoy the walk on the hill paths and narrow roads. In the evening you can visit the Mall for shopping. This is the shopping centre of Shimla. The main meeting points at this mall are the Ridge and Scandal points. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 04: Shimla – Manali
Today morning after breakfast drive to Manali. On reaching Manali check-in the hotel and relax for a while. Evening explore nearby areas and shopping at the local market and interact with local people of Manali. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05: Manali
Today morning depart for sightseeing of Manali. The 15th century Hadimba temple, the temple is dedicated to Hadimba the wife of Bheem of Mahabharat. This temple was built in 1533 AD. The Manu temple is dedicated to Manu Rishi, who is the creator of human race on the earth. This is the only temple of Manu in India. Tibetan Monastery is one of the attractions for tourists. The two main monasteries that draw attention of huge tourist are the Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa and Theckchoking Gompa. You can do shop the items made by the Tibetan people near the monasteries. The Vashist temple is dedicated to the Saint Vashist, he was the local deity. This is on the banks of River Ravi. This is famous for its hot springs and temples. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Excursion to Rohtang Pass & Solang Valley
On the 7th day of your tour enjoy an excursion to Kothi Gorge, Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass and Gulaba. The Kothi Gorge lies 2,500 m above the sea level. Trek for an hour to reach the Gorge. From the Gorge you view the River Beas rushing through it. The Solang valley is the panoramic place offering beautiful views of icebergs, peaks and snow capped mountains. You can enjoy many adventure sports like zorbing, skiing, paragliding and parachuting. Gulaba is a beautiful spot that lies on the way to the popular Rohtang Pass. Rohtang Pass is one of the panoramic and popular spots in Manali. This is covered totally with snow. You can enjoy the snow riding and skiing. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07: Excursion to Manikaan & Kullu
Today morning after breakfast drive towards Manikaran and Kullu. Manikaran is on the high up of the Parvati Valley. The steaming springs water has the healing properties. This is the place of pilgrimage for both Hindus and Sikhs. It has a temple and Gurudwara. It is said that the hot springs have got some minerals in it. Proceed towards Kullu. At Kullu you can visit the Kullu Shawl Industry, Vaishno Devi Temle, Kasoi Valley. Evening return to Manali and Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Manali - Delhi
On last of your tour start driving towards New Delhi. After reaching Delhi transfer to New Delhi airport or Railway station for onwards journey.
